China has five thousands history on the earth. There were long and many stories have lost and no one can know about that. But with the high tech developing, and some historical records, archaeologists can found out real history. So the historic is the important factor for us to learn about the history. Now the metal detector is the good helper for it.

Metal detector can probe silverware and bronze from tomb. A few days ago, there are someone do the probe by metal detector in construction site. They can found bracelets, silver combs and coins when archaeologists strip the sludge. So the tomb of Northern Song Dynasty which was burial underground from Hefei city downtown, after archaeologists dig for several days, the tomb was uncover finally. Heritage Management Office said that tomb was found from construction site, when got the news they organize personnel to do rescue immediately. They also said that persons who were responsible for construction site has strong awareness for protecting cultural relic. When the excavator was borrowing, workers found a lot of bricks that they doubt tomb was buried then stop work immediately. They washed cultural relic after dig out then sort out.

According to the excavation, this tomb was kept in complete that means it belongs to Northern Song Dynasty. There were one bronze mirrors, a pair of bracelets and two ceramic cartridges, one silver comb, two clays, fifty pieces cons. Heritage Management Office told to reporter that tomb should be belongs to female, from these accessories, we can know her family must very well-work that means it is a big and rich family. When reporter saw workers who were marking numbers for these cultural relics, he found they were corroded in different degrees, the silver even become black because of carbonizing. For these reasons all awing to them were buried for long time ago.

Reporter said that there were some words “Qian Qiu Wan Sui” on one mirror and “Zhang” under the ceramic cartridge. This word “Zhang” should be mark by manufacturer of the ceramic cartridge, it is the same as modern brand. Heritage Management Office said the model of whole tomb just like normal rocker tomb. The point is the coffin was made of Nan Mu in the tomb that can stay well after thousand years. This coffin was made of the whole piece Nan Mu, the widest of them is about one meter and thickness is about ten centimeters, it is uncommonly founding in the He Fei city. So these founding was important to study the system of funeral and the economic in the He Fei city during Northern Song Dynasty. Currently, Heritage Management Office have keep well.
